On Thursday, November 13, APAEX Torrevieja hosted a wonderful concert by students of the Francisco Casanovas Inclusive Music Course, as part of the organization’s open week filled with various activities and events. This performance marked the start of the “Healthcare Concert” series, which will bring live music to hospitals, care homes, and local associations throughout the 2025-26 season.

The concert featured an ensemble of talented musicians: Vicente Luengo (violin), Caty Hernández (flute and vocals), Juan Espinosa (guitar), Nadine Ceuterick (clarinet and vocals), Aurora Villares (guitar and vocals), Ita Menéndez (drums), Maximiano Padilla (keyboard), Viktor Waeytens (percussion and trumpet), Víctor Manuel Quesada (guitar and vocals), Soledad Manresa, Lola Sierra, and Ana Moraga (vocals). They performed a beautiful repertoire in various formats, from solos to small chamber groups, delighting a full audience in APAEX’s hall.

The concert concluded with a heartfelt address from Óscar Vicente, president of APAEX, who thanked the students and their teacher, Luis Sánchez, for their participation.

The next Healthcare Concert is scheduled for Tuesday, December 16, at 5:00 PM, at the Torrevieja Residence, where Maestro Casanovas spent his final years. The concert will also coincide with the 39th anniversary of his passing, making it a particularly meaningful tribute.
