Entrepreneurs, artists and creators will gather on 27 June at the Jardines de la Alquibla in Bigastro for a public day of experiences, creativity and networking
Women-led entrepreneurial projects, emerging artists and creators from across Vega Baja and the province of Alicante will once again take centre stage at Girls of Sun, the innovative meeting space created to showcase female talent and promote local entrepreneurship.
The event will celebrate its fourth edition on Saturday, 27 June, at the Jardines de la Alquibla in Bigastro, where it continues to establish itself as a benchmark for creativity, innovation and professional connections.
Following the success of previous editions, the initiative, launched by Orihuela entrepreneur Marta Martínez, creator of the jewellery brand By Marta Martínez, and Ángela Martí, founder of the sustainable fashion brand CIRCU, is expanding its format into a full-day experience combining entrepreneurship, creativity, wellbeing, music and leisure in a unique setting.
The event will retain its original essence as a showcase for female talent and local projects, while introducing new activities designed to encourage participation, the exchange of experiences and the creation of synergies among entrepreneurs, creators and visitors.
“Girls of Sun was created with the aim of giving visibility to women entrepreneurs from our area and building a space where we can share experiences, generate opportunities and support one another,” the organisers said. “Four years on, we continue to uphold that philosophy, while growing in order to offer an increasingly complete, open and inspiring experience for everyone who joins us.”
From 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 a.m., attendees will be able to enjoy a varied programme featuring emerging brands from sectors such as fashion, jewellery, cosmetics, wellbeing, decoration, crafts and art. The day will also include workshops, sports activities, networking spaces, prize draws, food and drink options, live music performances and many other surprises to be announced shortly.
Admission to Girls of Sun 2026 will be free until full capacity is reached, once again consolidating the event as an open space for the public where entrepreneurship, creativity, culture and professional connections come together to welcome the summer.
The organisers are still accepting new brands, collaborations and artistic proposals for this year’s edition. The call also remains open for female singers, DJs, instrumentalists and music projects wishing to be part of the programme and present their work to audiences from across the area.
Those interested in taking part can request further information and register through the official form.
Full details about the event, new additions to the line-up, scheduled activities and updates on this fourth edition will be announced progressively through the official Instagram account, @girlsofsun.exp.
The organisers have also made the email address Girlsofsun.exp@gmail.com available for enquiries, collaborations and proposals related to the project.
