Shoppers in Spain can expect thousands of discounts as Amazon brings Prime Day forward to June
Amazon has confirmed the dates for Prime Day 2026 in Spain, giving bargain hunters four days to hunt for deals before the summer season gets fully underway.
This year’s event will take place from Tuesday June 23 to Friday June 26, with offers available exclusively to Amazon Prime members. The sale will begin at midnight Spanish mainland time on June 23 and continue until 11.59pm on June 26.
The four-day shopping event is expected to include major discounts across a wide range of categories, including electronics, fashion, beauty, kitchenware, home products, everyday essentials and items from small and medium-sized businesses.
For many regular Amazon users, Prime Day has become one of the biggest online shopping moments of the year, with customers often waiting for the event before buying higher-value items such as laptops, appliances, smart devices or household goods.
Amazon says shoppers in Spain will be able to access personalised deal recommendations during the event, including offers linked to products in their baskets, wish lists and previously viewed items. The company will also promote several tools designed to help users track prices and spot offers more easily.
These include deal alerts, wish list notifications, Amazon Lens for searching products by image or barcode, and Rufus, Amazon’s shopping assistant. Alexa+ is also being promoted as part of the Prime package, offering AI-powered help with product searches and purchases.
The timing of this year’s event is also significant, as it coincides with Amazon’s 15th anniversary in Spain. To mark the occasion, the company is staging a special public event in Madrid on June 17, called El Jaleíto Prime, featuring music, activities and promotions linked to the Prime service.
Amazon Spain and Portugal general manager Ruth Díaz said the company works throughout the year to make each edition of Prime Day better than the last, adding that the 15th anniversary gives this year’s event extra importance.
The announcement comes as Spanish shoppers continue to become more strategic with their spending. A HarrisX study commissioned by Amazon found that many consumers compare prices, prepare shopping lists in advance and wait for sales before making selected purchases.
Amazon is also highlighting the wider benefits of Prime membership in Spain, including fast delivery, entertainment services, music, reading content and exclusive shopping events.
With the sale arriving earlier than usual, customers now have only a short wait before the offers begin. For those planning summer purchases, Prime Day 2026 could provide a useful chance to pick up discounted travel items, home essentials, technology and seasonal products before the holiday period begins.
