Last Saturday, the Provincial Base Individual Championship took place in Onteniente, where the Jennifer Colino Rhythmic Gymnastics Club achieved outstanding results.
The Torrevieja-based club managed to qualify five of its gymnasts for the Autonomous Championship, which will be held this weekend in Gandía.
The results were as follows:
Valeria Bakulina won the gold medal after performing an impeccable ball routine, earning the title of Provincial Champion in the Infantil 2013 category.
Alisa Kazyra, making her debut at this level, performed a magnificent hoop routine and was crowned Provincial Champion in the Alevín 2014 category.
Also debuting at this level, her teammate Kateryna Glazova secured third place, taking home the bronze medal. Meanwhile, Lucia Quesada finished in fifth place in the same category.
Valeriia Vorontsova competed with clubs and narrowly missed the podium, finishing in fourth place in the Cadete 2011 category. Unfortunately, her teammate Emma Domínguez faced some setbacks in the weeks leading up to the competition and was unable to qualify.
