Away we went to the Mar Menor golf course early in the morning, people wondering what sort of weather we could expect, waterproofs were packed by some. The day turned out to be a lovely golfing day with most of the members wearing shorts and just their society shirts. (EL RASO WERE HAVING THUNDER STORMS THROUGHOUT THE DAY)The scoring was good as proved by six members getting scores of over 30 points. There was only a small turn out for this outing due to the inclement weather and members being back in the uk.
The course, facilities & staff were excellent and the staff were very friendly and would help in any way.

Overall winner with 40 points: Rodger Clarke, welcome to the new handicap
Runner up with 37 points: Andrew drinkall
Third place with 36 points: Ray Muttock
Nearest the pins on par 3: Ray Muttock, Andrew Drinkall, sadly no one made the green on the 8th

As you can see ray mattock had a great day out on the course but did share his prizes out with his playing partners in his four ball, well done ray.
