To get us in the festive mood, as Christmas approaches, on Monday afternoon we were entertained by the “Melody Makers” Singing Group who were at the “Oasis” San Luis; raising money for charity along with several varied craft stalls.
South Alicante League: Monday 2nd SL Klingons, had a tough time, away v San Miguel Dolphins, managing to take 4 points-8, 83 shots-102. Winners: Dee Hoey, Carol & Gary Thorpe 24-11, Chris Jackson, June Jones, Dave Webb 25-14.
SL Romulans were home v Emerald Isle Moonrakers and had a good result, 8 points-4, 91 shots-65. Winners: Lesley & Wayne Howlett, David Whitworth 22-8, Jill Wyatt, Tony Ferreira, Steve Grey 19-13, Sheila Cooper, Keith Phillips, Carolyn Harris 27-7.

Winter League: Wednesday 4th San Luis were home v El Cid Lancers (who had a rather eventful journey) and had a really good result, 7 points-3, shots were close 69-62. Winners: Cathy Morrisroe, Bill Webb, Noel Morrisroe, Scott Malden 21-15, Peter Ayres, Gordon Paton, Keith Phillips, Dave Webb 19-15, Pauline Johnson, Chris Jackson, Judy Carroll, Barbara Louis 16-16.
Southern League: Friday 6th SL Lions were home to Emerald Isle Cavaliers and had a good result; 8 points-4, 107 shots-73. Winners: Dee Hoey, June Jones, Scott Malden 21-8, Stuart Wilson, Carol & Gary Thorpe 24-16, Cathy & Noel Morrisroe, Barbara Louis 31-4.
SL Tigers, travelled away to La Marina, and it was good to see some “old friends” waiting to greet us. It was a really close fought battle, with some heads changing with each shot, finishing 6 points-6, 83 shots-77. Winners: Jan Pocock, John Skipper, Jim Gracie 23-18, Judy Carroll, Ralph Jones, Gordon Paton 29-12.

San Luis is a friendly, but competitive club, with teams in all leagues.
