In an area that has been plagued with numerous problems over the years, the Casa Grande Industrial Estate, the Partido Popular (PP) candidate for Mayor of Torrevieja, Eduardo Dolón, who is of course the current mayor and has been on this occasion for the last 4 years, met on Monday with the representatives of the business area, headed by its president, José Vicente Ríos, to sign a new electoral contract, repeating the commitment act from 2019.

Eduardo Dolón undertakes, among other issues, to continue betting on the arrangement of roads and pavements in the area with an accessibility perspective, as well as improving the asphalt in order to clean the road and make it more comfortable and passable for business activity, and establish a police surveillance plan adapted to the needs of the area.

He has also, this time, promised to investigate better access from the N-332, and the installation of CCTV with number plate recognition, which is already present in many other parts of the town, but wasn’t installed in this area, in the same way there are many other zones also not protected by cameras, nor see regular police patrols.

In addition, the candidate for mayor for the PP, has expressed his commitment to provide parking for customers of the “Business Park”, incorporate bus stops to facilitate access from any neighbourhood in the town. Currently, cars are frequently seen parked on pavements in order for users to access the businesses, thus diminishing any hope of accessibility for those with mobility issues.
