Crevillente town hall has published the contract for the collection, transport and maintenance service for pets in the municipality, inviting companies to apply by March 9, increasing the amount of the contract to 55,000 euro.

According to the Councillor for Animal Welfare, Ana Vanessa Mas, the town hall has made this appeal to ensure that “Crevillente has the service it deserves to prevent the abandonment of animals”.

According to the specifications, this service seeks to prevent abandoned animals from constituting a health risk for the rest of the animal and human population of the municipality, as well as to avoid the transmission of infectious diseases and possible risks derived from aggressions and accidents caused by these animals.
