Although last years events were severely restricted for reasons beyond our control, Torrevieja U3A are now looking forward to resuming their normal busy calender. Details of all upcoming events can be found on our website torreviejau3a.org, or on our Facebook page for existing members.
The February monthly meeting of the association will be held on the 25th at the Los Angeles bar in Torrevieja. The meeting will be starting at 10.30 and all the usual facilities will be available to attendees.
Membership renewals will be handled by Dawn and Tracey on the membership desk. They will be ably assisted by Naomi and Yvonne who will be able to advise and assist new applicants wishing to join the association.
The membership team will also be available at the monthly coffee mornings that are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month at Rockys in Playa Flamenca between 10.30 and 12 noon.
Our guest speaker this month will be Laurence from Another Planet Brewery in Torre Pacheco. Laurence will bring his wealth of knowledge in the brewing of ales to the attention of the members. There will also be samples of their wares to try. A presentation that should not be missed!!
Following the speaker, we will have musical entertainment provided by one of our members, Ian Smith who is an accomplished vocalist and musician.
