The +50 veterans team from Club de Tenis Torrevieja has been crowned champions of the Valencian Community Second Division after securing a dramatic 4–3 victory in the final.
The win not only delivers the regional title but also confirms promotion to the First Division, marking a significant milestone for the team after a consistent and hard-fought season.
It was a strong weekend overall for the club’s veteran squads. The +40 women’s team produced a solid 3–2 victory over Club de Tenis Benissa on home courts, booking their place in the First Division quarter-finals and underlining their strong competitive form.
Meanwhile, the +40 men’s team narrowly lost 3–2 to Club de Tenis Alacant in the group stage. Despite the setback, they remain in contention to retain their place in the division, with the campaign still open.
