El Valle Golf Society secretary Sion Rands joined club members at the 11th hole of El Valle Golf Course to unveil a memorial plaque in memory of their much-loved friend, Bruce Raubenheimer.
Bruce’s wife, Lynda, and son, Kyle, attended the moving gathering as members paused to remember a true gentleman whose kindness, warmth and friendship touched so many people. Bruce was taken far too soon and remains deeply missed by everyone at the club.
The tribute took place during El Valle Golf Resort’s Charity Events Week, which is raising money for causes holding a special place in the hearts of the Raubenheimer family.
The club said it was proud to support these important causes in Bruce’s memory and thanked its members for their continued kindness and generosity.
The plaque and bench at the 11th hole will provide a lasting place for Bruce’s family and friends to pause, reflect and remember a very special man.
