It was another early start for the Inbetweeners as 16 brave souls made the trip to the excellent La Finca Golf Course for the latest instalment of the 2026 season. With the tee times beginning at 10:00 am, there was little time for excuses, bacon sandwiches or last-minute swing changes. The players assembled, the clubs were dusted down and, with handicaps safely tucked away, the competition was on.
La Finca provided its usual stern test, with beautifully presented fairways, challenging greens and plenty of opportunities for the sort of shots that look brilliant in the practice swing but mysteriously disappear once the ball is in front of you.
There was some excellent golf on display, along with the usual mixture of birdies, pars, heroic recovery shots and the occasional ball that was last seen heading towards another postcode.

After the golf, the usual post-match gathering provided the opportunity to analyse the day’s events, explain why the score should have been considerably better and, naturally, congratulate the winners.
