SC Torrevieja CF delivered a statement performance on the road, sweeping aside Novelda Unión CF 3–0 to reassert their promotion ambitions and climb back into the playoff positions.

Backed by a vocal travelling support of around 75 fans, Torrevieja responded emphatically after slipping to fourth place earlier in the day, producing a controlled and clinical display highlighted by a superb hat-trick from Ismail.

Manager Paquero named a strong starting XI, with Matías returning to the line-up, and his side wasted little time in asserting themselves. The breakthrough arrived after just 13 minutes when Caleb surged down the left and whipped in a dangerous delivery. Ismail reacted sharply in the box, turning home from close range to give the visitors an early advantage.

Novelda threatened sporadically, with their best opportunity coming from a long ball that split the Torrevieja defence. However, goalkeeper Pizana stood tall, producing an important near-post save to preserve the lead.

Torrevieja continued to dominate proceedings, carving out several chances before the break. A slick move down the right saw Matías pull the ball back for Manresa, whose effort drifted narrowly wide. Shortly after, the visitors came close again from a corner, only to be denied by a goal-line clearance from the Novelda keeper.

The pressure kept mounting. Caleb struck the post with a curling first-time effort, while Pucho rattled the crossbar with a powerful strike from the edge of the area, leaving Torrevieja unfortunate not to extend their lead further before half-time.

Despite only holding a one-goal advantage at the interval, Torrevieja were firmly in control—and they made that dominance count immediately after the restart.

Just two minutes into the second half, Pucho threaded a perfectly weighted pass through to Ismail, who kept his composure to slot home and double the lead. Minutes later, the striker completed his hat-trick, finishing from close range after a low cross from Breno to put the result beyond doubt.

With a comfortable three-goal cushion, Torrevieja managed the game professionally. A series of substitutions ensured energy levels remained high, while further chances followed. Breno headed narrowly wide late on, and Loel tried his luck from distance, his effort drifting off target.
