One-year contract with a potential one-year extension; bids now open
Orihuela City Council has announced a public tender for the provision of beach cleaning services, including the rental of two tractors with drivers—one equipped with a beach cleaning implement and the other with a forklift attachment. These vehicles will support the beach screening and levelling operations managed by the Department of Street Cleaning and Urban Solid Waste.
The initial contract will run for one year, with the option to extend it for an additional year. The maximum annual budget for the contract is set at €122,896.70 (VAT included), bringing the total estimated value—if extended—to €203,135.04.
The contract covers the rental and operational costs of the two tractors, including an estimated maximum number of working hours for each driver. Bids will be evaluated primarily based on the best hourly service rate, along with other technical and financial criteria.
Interested companies have 15 calendar days from the date of publication (July 7) to submit their proposals through the Public Sector Procurement Platform, via the contractor’s profile.
