On Tuesday, the Casaverde Group is formally opening a new residence for the elderly in the city of Elche, in front of the municipal park El Palmeral.

The centre has 150 beds, 80% of which are single rooms, with the whole centre divided into cohabitation units.

The inauguration will be carried out by Alberto Giménez Artés, President of the Casaverde Group and the Mayor of Elche, Pablo Ruz Villanueva, during which a commemorative plaque will be unveiled followed by a guided tour of the facilities.

The event is expected to be attended by representatives of public and private health and social activity, business, associations of relatives and patients, as well as representatives of the City Council of Elche and managers and professionals from the Casaverde Group.

Casaverde’s facilities have medical and nursing assistance 24 hours a day as well as multidisciplinary treatments carried out by a team made up of psychologists, physiotherapists, social workers, nursing assistants, socio-cultural animation technicians and occupational therapists.

All of them work closely with the residents and their environment to achieve a better quality of life.

The centre’s 150 beds are distributed over a ground floor and 4 upper floors, with each floor divided into living units, more than 80% of which are individual beds. The entire building is designed for the well-being of the resident, with large spaces, lots of direct light, and the roof terrace is equipped with a large garden terrace for the enjoyment of its residents.

The new residence plays an important role in the area, as it will help to meet the growing need for care facilities for dependent elderly people in the province of Alicante, and specifically in the city of Elche, which with a population of over 230,000 inhabitants, is the second largest city in the province and the third largest in the autonomous community of Valencia. The centre is well served by public transport.

With this new residence for the elderly, the Casaverde Group consolidates its expansion policy as one of the leading companies in neurological rehabilitation, as well as in the care and welfare of people in a situation of dependency in Spain.

In Spain, the group operates 21 service centres, in which more than 880 professionals care for more than 1,900 users, including residents and patients, using state-of-the-art protocols and procedures.
