The Zenia Boulevard Shopping Centre, managed by Nhood and owned by Ceetrus and CBRE Investment Management, will host “Zenia Alcachofa Fest” this Saturday, March 23, or “Zenia Artichoke Fest” if you prefer, a festival to celebrate the end of the campaign of this jewel of the Vega Baja orchard and which aims to encourage and promote the consumption of one of the star products of agriculture in the area with different activities aimed at the whole family.

In the words of Cristina Ros, director of Zenia Boulevard, “it is a pleasure for us to collaborate with this initiative and offer this added value of going beyond conventional events and having the opportunity to publicise our environment.”

Among the actions planned for that day, in collaboration with the Asociación de Alcachofa de la Vega Baja, is at 1:30 p.m. the Torrá (baking) of 1,000 artichokes live by the Paella Mediterránea chef Juan Antonio Álvarez; the special tasting of 300 artichoke burgers at 2:30 p.m.; At 4:30 p.m. the cooking show for children on making canned artichokes and other recipes is scheduled and at 6:30 p.m. the giant artichoke goose game and the children’s painting workshop with artichokes.

The agenda for the month of March at Zenia Boulevard is completed with musical performances by Conecta2 (March 26), Carla Terrés (March 27), Canto del Loco (March 28), the Musical “The World Upside Down” directed by La Nena Crea (March 29), Candlelight concert Concierto Candle Light (March 30) and De Polis concert (March 31).
