Not a single government supporter (PP/VOX) was elected to the Board in District X at the elections to the District Board, held last Thursday across the Orihuela Municipality, with senior members from the Party for the Independence of Orihuela Costa (PIOC), taking 5 of the 6 available seats, the sixth going to a former advisor of Ciudadanos.
Political argument exploded in Torrevieja last week, over funding to solve the historic problem of flooding in the municipality, but further south there was encouraging news for Corvera airport which will open the summer season on the last weekend of March with flights to around twenty cities in six countries.
