Goals from Juanmi Callejón and Aschalew at the end of each period added three further points to the Orihuela tally as they continue to push for a playoff position in Segunda Federacion Group 4, now just a single point away.

Sergi Guilló’s men achieved their sixth victory in the last eight games, lifting themselves into seventh position in the table, with an eight-point cushion from the relegation zone, in which they languished just a few weeks ago.

For the most part the game saw Antoniano with a little more ball, while Orihuela looked to create their chances on the counter.

Orihuela’s goals came in the 42nd and the 91st minutes of the game with two set pieces undoing visitors Atlético Antoniano, who now drop into the relegation zone themselves.
