The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, announced at the weekend that the Council of Ministers will today approve the increase in the Minimum Interprofessional Salary (SMI) by 5% to 1.134 euro per month, an increase of just over 50 euro a month, in line with the agreement reached last January between the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy and the unions.
