The Department of Tourism has organised a “Mayday Festival” in Orihuela Costa for next Saturday  and Sunday, 29 & 30 April where a weekend of activities will take place for both adults and children, on the Playa Flamenca esplanade.

On Saturday at 9 p.m. there will be a symphonic instrumental concert “A la luz de las velas, featuring the Camerata Antigua quintet, which will perform both national and international pop music hits, “a recital in which the esplanade will be decorated with dozens of candles that will give a warm and intimate atmosphere”, explained María García, the local councillor.

On Sunday there will be two children’s comedy performances. At 11 a.m. the staging of “Professional Nonsense” will take place, with the amusing Mago Larsen , and at 12:30 p.m. it will be the turn of Pampol Teatre, which will represent “Ferdinando, the bull” , in which “there will be lots of laughter, not only among the children, but also among the adults”, García said.
