Sporting Alfas CC lifted the winner’s trophy in the final of the T20 cricket tournament, defeating Phoenix CC. “Well done to Sporting Alfas CC becoming T20 champions, and to everyone involved.
“Thanks to Madrid CC for organising a great weekend,” said a spokesperson. It was another year and another great experience and success at the annual T20 Tournament.
There were some very exciting and close games throughout and we raised €1,382 for chosen charities.
The Madrid CC annual T20 Tournament featured five teams, playing four games, culminating in the grand final.
The teams involved were Sporting Alfaz C.C, Madrid CC, Norbury CC, Shooters CC and Phoenix CC.
2023 Euro Championship
Sporting Alfà s Cricket club’s Daniel Calle was named the best player in the final phase of the 2023 European Cricket Championship held in Cártama, Málaga.
The third trophy competition that is celebrated in Spain had 30 clubs that was broadcast to millions of viewers around the world.
The team from l’Alfà s del Pi that participated in the European Cricket final finished in seventh position, being among the 10 best teams in Europe.
In addition to qualifying in seventh position, the Sporting l’Alfás Club cricket player Daniel Calle received the Sporting Example award.
Calle stood out during the Tournament, together with Christian Muñoz, the duo having been chosen MBP in several matches played in the final phase of the Cricket European Cup, won by Cricket Dreux de France.
