Two people have been injured in a gas explosion that occurred in a house in Elche.
The two people were taken to a hospital for cuts on their arms and legs as a result of the glass and some burns.
Firefighters received a call at 8:44 p.m. on Monday and after going to the scene they found that a gas explosion in a house in a block of buildings on calle Patricio Ruiz Gómez had seriously damaged part of the property, especially the kitchen.
In addition, the windows were broken, hence the occupants were injured by broken glass, as well as to some fire burns. The firefighters finished their involvement at 3:23 a.m.
