Benejúzar, October 29, 2025 — The tenth edition of Benejúzar Experience wrapped up this Sunday with the inauguration of the ‘Pueblos de la Vega Baja’ stairs, a new symbolic installation honoring the 27 municipalities of the comarca. Located at Vega Baja’s geographical centre, each step bears the name of a town, allowing visitors to celebrate the region’s unity and diversity.

Around 60 participants explored the Benejúzar mountains during the Vega Baja Experience, guided by writer Marta Ruiz, learning local legends and heritage stories. The stair inauguration was followed by a traditional lunch and concluded at the La Pilarica Sanctuary.

Mayor Vicente Cases said the stairs “symbolically unite the comarca from its heart, reminding us that each town has its own identity but shares a common history and future.”

The weekend also included the Centenario Experience, celebrating 100 years of the Unión Musical de Benejúzar with a parade, commemorative magazine launch, and tribute concert, attended by provincial and local officials.
