The Orihuela Youth Department has announced the return of “Summer Sport 2025,” a program combining sports, leisure, and family fun on the beaches of Orihuela Costa throughout July and August. Youth Councilor Anabel García highlighted that the initiative is designed “for families to enjoy summer together, blending recreation and physical activity right on our beaches.”

Activities for All Ages Running Simultaneously

For six consecutive weeks, the beaches of Campoamor, Playa Flamenca, Cabo Roig, and La Zenia will host 18 sports and recreational sessions held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. The locations will rotate weekly to allow participants to enjoy different beach settings.

“We’ve created a diverse program offering simultaneous activities for adults, youth, and children in the same space, each led by specialized instructors,” explained García. Adult sessions will include Pilates, yoga, Zumba, body combat, and functional training.

Meanwhile, children will have a blast with games like obstacle courses, water games, treasure hunts, inflatables, competitions, juggling workshops, themed parties, balloon twisting, slime-making, and even a foam party with a live DJ.
