A 58-year-old woman is hospitalized after being stabbed in Torrevieja on Sunday evening. The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. near the town’s bus station in the Vega Baja area.
Emergency medical services responded promptly, and the woman was transported to Torrevieja Hospital at approximately 6:20 p.m. by a Basic Life Support unit. She sustained an open stab wound to the abdomen and remains hospitalized, according to sources familiar with the case.
The circumstances surrounding the attack are still unclear. The Civil Guard has launched an investigation to determine the cause and identify those responsible.
