The Casaverde Group has officially opened its new residence for the elderly in Elche. The ceremony was carried out by Alberto Giménez Artés, president of the Casaverde Group and the mayor of Elche, Pablo Ruz Villanueva.

The pair unveiled a commemorative plaque prior to undertaking a guided tour of the facilities, along with various representatives of public and private health and social activity, business, associations of relatives and patients, as well as representatives of the City Council of Elche and managers and professionals of the Casaverde Group.

The president of the Casaverde Group, Alberto Giménez Artés said that “today we are fulfilling a task in Elche of creating a centre for the maximum comfort of the elderly, cared for by a team of high level professionals, nearly fifty people, most of them born here in Elche”.

The mayor of Elche, Pablo Ruz Villanueva, added that this new residence is “a place for the hope of residents and families who find in Casaverde the comfort and dignity that a fair and advanced society like ours has to provide to our elders, who are the greatest thing we have, and to whom we owe a great deal of respect”.

The centre director, Maria Quiles, thanked the Casaverde Group for the trust placed in her and congratulated the team of staff at the residence for the work they are doing. She welcomed the new residents, who are already in place, and showed her gratitude to the people of Elche for the excellent welcome.

Casaverde’s facilities, located in one of the main avenues of the city, Avda. Libertad, 133, have daily medical and nursing assistance 24 hours a day and multidisciplinary treatments carried out by a team made up of psychologists, physiotherapists, social workers, nursing assistants, staff in socio-cultural animation and occupational therapists. All of them work closely with the residents and their environment to achieve a better quality of life.
