Racing San Miguel youth defeated Santa Pola CF with Cristian and a hat-trick from Charlie pushing them near to the top of the table.

“The youth squad from San Miguel is proving to be more effective. Against Santa Pola, Racing San Miguel offered good football and generated numerous scoring chances,” said a club spokesperson.

Charlie opened the scoring on 23 minutes, with Santa Pola equalising from the penalty spot.

“The setback did not change the plans of Adrián Sánchez’s boys, who continued to be superior and soon after opened the gap again, through Charlie and another goal from Cristian,” said the spokesperson.

In the second half Racing continued to dominate, with good circulations that allowed them to open gaps in the Santapolera defence.

Racing San Miguel netted late on, with Charlie completing his hat trick: “The youth have been outstanding in the league, getting 9 points from their last three games.

“A ball of oxygen for the Sanmigueleros, who are getting closer and closer to the top of the table, and continue to grow,” said a club spokesperson.
