The Association of Hospitality Businesses of Torrevieja and Region has revealed the winners of the “Nos Vamos de Tapas” competition at the Torrevieja Tourism Center.
In the Best Traditional Tapa category, Restaurante La Mar de Bien took top honours for their Chipirones stuffed with seafood, American sauce, and crispy leek. The Best Innovative Tapa award was voided after the winning establishment was disqualified for not being present at the announcement, in line with contest rules.
A lucky draw among participating venues awarded a €1,000 travel prize to La Cantina Food & Drinks.
The official awards ceremony will take place Thursday at Bodegas Vega, celebrating the creativity and Flavors of the region’s local gastronomy. The Association thanked all participants and encouraged continued participation in future editions.
