The CGR Jennifer Colino gymnast represented the Valencian Community in Oviedo, helping the regional team secure two national podium finishes.
Anastasia Salkova, a gymnast from Club de Gimnasia Rítmica Jennifer Colino, has once again shone on the national stage after helping the Valencian Community win silver and bronze at the Spanish School-Age Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, held in Oviedo on 4 and 5 June.
The championship brought together the country’s leading gymnasts and regional teams in one of the most important events on Spain’s national rhythmic gymnastics calendar. Salkova competed with rope as part of the Valencian team and was accompanied at the event by her coach, Jennifer Colino.
The competition included men’s, women’s and group categories. Thanks to the strong performances of all its representatives, the Valencian Community finished as runner-up in the overall combined standings, which bring together the results from the women’s, men’s and group competitions.
The Valencian team also secured bronze in the combined women’s and group classification, repeating the success achieved in previous editions of the championship.
Salkova was part of the Valencian squad that scored a total of 328.300 points to claim the silver medal, finishing behind the Community of Madrid, which took gold with 333.400 points. The Basque Country completed the podium with 327.800 points.
The result marks another major achievement for the CGR Jennifer Colino gymnast, who continues to build her list of honours and establish herself as one of the most promising talents in Spanish rhythmic gymnastics.
The club congratulated both Anastasia Salkova and her coach, Jennifer Colino, for their work and dedication, and for continuing to take the name of Torrevieja and the Valencian Community to the top level of Spanish rhythmic gymnastics.
CGR Jennifer Colino secures another season in the Iberdrola League First Division
CGR Jennifer Colino has also secured its place in the First Division of the 2026 Iberdrola Rhythmic Gymnastics League for another season after a strong performance in the second phase of the competition, held in Oviedo on Saturday 6 June.
The Iberdrola League is one of the most demanding competitions in Spanish rhythmic gymnastics, bringing together the best clubs in the country. Many teams strengthen their line-ups with leading national and international gymnasts in an effort to improve their rankings.
CGR Jennifer Colino, however, once again placed its trust in talent developed entirely within the club, competing exclusively with gymnasts from its own academy: Miley Martínez, Anastasia Salkova, Valeria García and Zaira Noguera.
The four gymnasts delivered an excellent competition, showing maturity, confidence and a high technical level on the mat. Despite the demanding standard of the event and the presence of leading international gymnasts, the Torrevieja representatives were able to demonstrate the hard work carried out throughout the season with a series of high-quality performances.
Thanks to these results, CGR Jennifer Colino remains among the national elite of rhythmic gymnastics and will continue competing next season in the top tier of the Iberdrola League.
The achievement underlines the strength of the club’s training programme and the potential of its young gymnasts.
The club congratulated Miley Martínez, Anastasia Salkova, Valeria García and Zaira Noguera for their commitment, effort and excellent performances, as well as the technical team led by Jennifer Colino for continuing to consolidate the club’s position as one of the national benchmarks in the sport.
