Music, community spirit and generosity combined beautifully on the evening of Monday 25th May as Crescendo International Choir entertained a delighted audience at the Casa de la Cultura in Benijófar.
The choir performed an exciting new season of songs from artists such as the Beatles and Leonard Cohen as well as more recent music from Adele and Coldplay; receiving enthusiastic praise from concertgoers who described the programme as “great to sing along to” and “thoroughly enjoyable.” The evening was a huge success with audience members clearly appreciating the choir’s lively performance.
Thanks to the generosity of everyone who attended and supported the event, buying cakes and drinks and donating money into the choirs famous red buckets, a magnificent €210 was raised for the Food Bank of Benijófar, with raffle proceeds going towards choir funds to support future performances and activities.

The choir is now looking ahead to its next exciting performance as it joins the return of El Hombre del Banco – The Man on the Bench, a powerful stage production written by Lorenzo Segura and performed by actors Isabel Verdejo and Salva Monleón.
Described as a moving theatrical experience that “will leave no one unmoved,” the performance will take place on Saturday 6 June at 8pm at the Casa de la Cultura in Benijófar.
With another memorable evening promised, supporters of music and theatre alike are encouraged to come along and enjoy this unique collaboration.
