In the world of spirituality, there is no such thing as a coincidence, only synchronicity, and for two local ladies, the synchronicities seem to be piling up! Alison Wynne-Ryder and Sandra Piddock first met 10 years ago.
Sandra was going through a difficult time personally, and a friend suggested meditation might help, recommending local medium, clairvoyant and healer Alison Wynne-Ryder.
It turned out that they were near neighbours, Alison living in Benijofar and Sandra in Algorfa. As soon as they met, Alison told Sandra that not only would she soon be working with Spirit herself, she’d also write and publish a book about her soul journey!
For Sandra, this seemed an impossible dream. Her personal life was a mess, she was 64 years old, and although she’d had psychic experiences throughout her life, she had no idea how to harness that and do the sort of things that Alison, an international medium with a successful TV series under her belt, was becoming renowned for.
However, the meditation helped, and Alison suggested that Sandra joined her certified psychic development course. Over the next few years, Alison and Sandra’s friendship deepened, and Sandra successfully completed the internationally recognized course, and began to work as a healer and clairvoyant, helping people connect with loved ones in Spirit and find inner peace.
Before Alison and Sandra met, Alison had published her first book, The Quirky Medium, with UK mind, body , spirit publisher Local Legend, and she often reminded Sandra that it was time she got working on the book she’d mentioned on their first meeting. Alison was working on a second book, but life got in the way for both of them when they lost their husbands to illness over the space of a couple of years.
Finally, in May 2023, Sandra’s book, The Soul Cave: It’s Never Too Late to Find Your Power, was published, also by Local Legend after Alison introduced Sandra to CEO Nigel Peace.
Over the next couple of years, Nigel helped the ladies promote their books internationally, using his contacts to get their articles published in prestigious magazines such as Psychic News, and in March 2025, Alison’s second book, Discover the Angels, was published. Both books are available worldwide, online and to order from local bookshops.
The Soul Cave tells the story of Sandra’s spiritual journey so far, and also gives insights and case studies on different aspects of spiritual work, such as healing, energy work, card reading, and working with chakras, crystals and the angels. There are also exclusive visualisations for self-healing, channelled to Sandra through angels.

Recently, Alison and Sandra caught up again at one of Alison’s local workshops, where students were astonished to find out that they had not one but two local authors in their midst! Alison is also a Master in Angelic Reiki – a form of energy healing – and in yet another synchronicity, Sandra is studying under her, and loving the experience.
So, what does the future look like for Alison Wynne-Ryder and Sandra Piddock, who writes under the pen name Sandra Francis? Well, Sandra is currently working on her second book, which covers the topic of dogs and the afterlife, and given the synchronicities between the two ladies so far, maybe Alison will venture into print again.
