The Orihuela Council has received a subsidy, granted by the Department of the Environment, Water, Infrastructure and Heritage, through the Next Generation European funds, for the implementation of new separate refuse collections, especially bio-waste.

This aid, which amounts to 682,065 euros, represents 62.87% of the total 1,084,884 euros of the total amount of the project.

The councillor Ortuño said that with this grant “we will be able to implement, expand and improve the separate collection of biowaste destined for specific biological treatment facilities.
