Boxer Luna Mairena, born in La Línea, won the Gold at the 2022 Young Boxam International Championship representing Spain, after defeating the Brazilian Nicol de Oliveira.
Luna won the under 54 kilo weight for women’s Olympic boxing. Luna Mairena belongs to the Club Don Príncipe de La Línea.
