We were greeted with mixed weather at Font del Llop where we competed for the above trophy sponsored by the proprietors of the La Marina Sports Centre.
Some impressive scores resulted and will mean several handicap reductions.
A special mention for Steve Jones, who must have been disappointed not to take home the trophy with his score of 42 points. However, Lynn Leigh with a magnificent total of 43 points took the trophy and Steve had to settle for two nearest the pins.
The gold award went to Steve Warner with 34 points, who also collected a ntp prize. The other ntp went to Jimmy Scott.
Only one 2 which was won by Jeff Wisniewski.
Our next meeting is a return to Alicante golf on 15th March, first tee 1010 at a cost of 45 euros. Contact Alan Craig 634347788 as soon as possible as the list of players is almost complete, and Alan will be trying to get extra tee times.
