Orihuela, November 2025 — The Orihuela Tourism Department has unveiled its November calendar of guided tours, with the life and legacy of poet Miguel Hernández once again taking centre stage as the city’s main cultural draw. Visitors can also enjoy events commemorating the Day of Islamic Art and the Day of Science, as well as unique convent tastings.
Highlights include a visit to the “Casa Cebolla” exhibition at the María Moliner Library on November 22, and a tour on November 8 exploring “The Origins of Miguel Hernández” at the Colegio de Santo Domingo, giving participants a glimpse into the spaces that shaped the early years of the famed Orihuela poet.
Special thematic routes will mark the cultural calendar: guided tours at the Museo de la Muralla and MUDIC (the Interactive Science Museum of Vega Baja) bring history and science alive for visitors of all ages, while the “Cultural Legacy” route continues to showcase Orihuela’s traditions and heritage through charming itineraries around the city.
Sweet lovers can also indulge in convent tastings: on November 7, a tour featuring traditional convent pastries, and on November 29, a visit to the Convento del Carmen.
