Last Friday marked the official closing of the 2025 edition of the “Torrevieja and the Sea” Gastronomic Days, a special edition that introduced a new, more focused and immersive format—featuring one participating restaurant each Friday.
The closing event was held at Restaurante Las Columnas, the host of the final session, and was attended by representatives from the hospitality sector, participating establishments, guests, and local authorities, including Urban Planning Councillor Sandra Sánchez and Sports Councillor Diana Box.
During the event, certificates of recognition were awarded to the three participating restaurants in appreciation of their commitment and professionalism:
- Restaurante Luz de Mar (June 20)
- Restaurante Club Náutico Torrevieja (June 27)
- Restaurante Las Columnas (July 4)
José Ignacio Pastor, president of the Torrevieja and Surrounding Area Hospitality Business Association, publicly thanked the establishments for their dedication, the high quality of their culinary offerings, and the support from local authorities. He also highlighted the success of the new format, noting that the more intimate and curated approach was well received by the public and presents an opportunity for future growth.
“With this format, we aimed to offer guests a more complete experience in a refined, close-knit setting—and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive,” said Pastor.
