The stage at Torrevieja’s Municipal Theatre will glow with emotion and music this weekend, as it hosts two special events that promise unforgettable experiences for music lovers.
A Magical Candlelight Tribute to Queen
On Friday, July 4 at 8:00 p.m., the Municipal Theatre will host a moving and intimate tribute to legendary British rock band Queen as part of the popular Candlelight concert series. The performance, delivered by the talented Salzillo String Quartet, will feature a selection of Queen’s most iconic hits in a breathtaking candlelit setting.
Audiences can expect powerful renditions of timeless classics such as Bohemian Rhapsody, Somebody to Love, We Will Rock You, Love of My Life, and Under Pressure, among many others. To enhance the experience, guests can enjoy a stylish pre-show drink service at the venue’s bar starting one hour before the concert.
Torrevieja Choral Society Marks 18 Years of Musical Excellence
On Sunday, July 6 at 8:00 p.m., the spotlight returns to the Municipal Theatre for the 18th anniversary gala of the Orfeón de Torrevieja “Mario Bustillo.” This special evening will showcase a rich and diverse repertoire performed by the renowned local choral group and its soloists.
The gala will feature a wide variety of musical styles, including opera arias and choruses, zarzuela, musical theatre, boleros, pop, international classics, and the beloved local habaneras. The performance promises an evening of emotion, artistic excellence, and heartfelt celebration of Torrevieja’s vibrant musical tradition. Tickets for this gala are available starting at just €10.
