The mixed employment-training programme “T’Avalem Horadada Emplea Joven IV”, aimed at the development of young unemployed people, in Pilar de la Horadada came to an end.

The aim of the programme is to improve the qualifications and facilitate the employability of participants by providing services of public utility and tourist interest for the municipality and its visitors.

The programme has lasted 12 months, and a total of 10 students/workers have been hired, a director and a teacher in the speciality of tourism, who has taught the certificate of “local tourism promotion and visitor information” (HOTI0108).

The closing address was attended by the mayor, José María Pérez, the councillor for employment, Susi Sánchez and the training coordinator, Manuel Ruiz. During the closing ceremony a video was shown with the performances and collaborations that the students of the programme have undertaken throughout the year with the different councillors of the Town Hall.

The mayor wanted to congratulate all the participants, highlighting the importance of this type of programme, which not only provides temporary work for the unemployed, but also trains them for greater and better employability. Susi Sánchez also dedicated a few words to thank them for their contribution during these months and wished them luck for their academic and professional futures.
