The Policia Local San Fulgencio rescued a female fallow deer that had fallen into a ditch in the municipality.
Police were alerted by members of the public and after a rescue operation the Civil Guard Seprona transferred the deer to the Rio Safari Elche.
The fire brigade services and volunteers from the Association La Voz Animal de San Fulgencio also assisted in the rescue.
