Mojácar´s Botaniq Hotel has received the Best Boutique Hotel in Spain award at the eighth ‘VD Viajes’ Travel Tourism Awards, organised by the prestigious La Razón newspaper.
Roberto Brasero acted as Master of ceremonies with La Razón’s director, Francisco Marhuenda, charged with presenting the prizes at the event which was held at the publication’s Madrid Head Office.
This is now an increasingly important and prestigious annual occasion that recognizes the efforts and dedication made by different national and international entities, private companies and public institutions that all strive to achieve tourism excellence.
After giving some words of welcome to those present, Francisco Marhuenda continued with the awards, each marked by the recipient’s enterprise and innovation. As an accolade for Mojácar, La Razón and the organization were unanimous in naming the town’s Botaniq Hotel the best Boutique Hotel in Spain for its outstanding work in the tourism sector.
Located in Rio Abajo, this elegant 14-room hotel which is surrounded by palm trees, faces out over the Mediterranean with its white sandy beach. Despite being set in such a tranquil, natural setting surrounded by flora and fauna, it is only a stone’s throw away from the Marina Golf Club and Mojácar’s Old Town as well as having easy access by being only 16 km from the A7 motorway.
