Community Care Association Committee, (CCA) Norah Bond President, Eva Johansson Secretary General and Katalin Konkoly Vocal, proudly presented a donation of €500 to Maria and her Pink Ladies and Panthers for all their wonderful work supporting the residents of Orihuela Costa and neighbouring areas in the fight against Cancer. 

The Pink Ladies AACC early detection programme for Cancer related conditions has saved so many lives since Maria started her campaign to support people with cancer, including CCA Members, their friends and families, which is why CCA decided to donate €500 to Maria and her fantastic team.

Their early detection programme offer the following:-  Gynaecology, Dermatology, Urology Ultrasound (Kidney, Bladder Prostrate) Bilateral Mammography, Bilateral Breast Ultrasound, Determination of Prostrate – Specific antigen (IPSA) Fecal Occult Blood test, Digestive System Consultation, Colonoscopy with Sedation, Trauma Consultation, Ortho Prosthetic material. Psychological attention.

Their volunteer staff offer support and advice with compassion and empathy, they listen and care.  

CCA offer social activities located at the Civic Centre Alameda del Mar, including Spanish Lessons on Mondays, 2-5pm and Art sessions on Wednesdays 2-4pm.
