The town now operates 61 cameras and 12 license plate readers across its municipal area
The Councillor for Modernization, Nieves Moreno, has announced that the Pilar de la Horadada Town Council has expanded its modern public video surveillance system with the installation of six new monitoring points. These additions cover most of the intersections along the Rambla urban canalization, further strengthening local security measures.
This new phase of the project, with a budget of €204,000, increases the total number of surveillance cameras across the municipality to 61, while also adding 12 new automatic license plate recognition devices. Councillor Moreno emphasized the department’s ongoing commitment to gradually expanding and improving the town’s network of security cameras.
The initiative is co-financed through the regional call for innovation projects, under the “Territorios Innovadores” (Innovative Territories) Plan promoted by the Regional Ministry of Innovation, Industry, Commerce, and Tourism of the Generalitat Valenciana.
