Eduardo Ros has been unanimously elected as the new president of Nuevas Generaciones (New Generations, NNGG) of the People’s Party (PP) in Pilar de la Horadada, receiving full support from all members who participated in the youth organization’s assembly.
Born in Pilar de la Horadada in 1997, Ros holds a Law degree and a Master’s in Legal Practice from UMH. In his first speech as president, he described this new phase as “a great responsibility” that he takes on “with pride and a strong commitment to the future of the youth of Pilar de la Horadada.”
He called this new chapter “an exciting challenge: to build a strong and participatory group that truly reflects the youth of our town. We cannot afford to be a closed-off group or detached from social realities. We must be where young people are—listening to their experiences, their thoughts, their concerns. Only then can we truly represent them.”
Ros was accompanied by key figures from the regional and local PP organizations, including Jaime Pérez Esteban (provincial president of NNGG), Cristina Cutanda Pérez (provincial secretary general of NNGG), regional parliamentarian Lucía Peral, and Rufino Lancharro Muñoz, who served as president of NNGG Pilar de la Horadada since 2014 and is the current president of the local PP chapter.
Also present were Mayor José María Pérez Sánchez, Provincial Deputy Marina Sáez Martínez, and several local party officials, members, and supporters who came to show their support for the newly elected president.
Jaime Pérez highlighted the vital role of NNGG and emphasized that the PP in Pilar de la Horadada represents “an organisation for the future” thanks to young leaders like Eduardo, who embody the values of dedication, capability, and a desire to improve their community. He encouraged the new leadership to “be brave, lead with conviction, and continue making the PP a home for everyone who loves Pilar de la Horadada.”
Outgoing president Rufino Lancharro offered his support to the new leadership and reflected on his time in office, encouraging his successor and his team to uphold the principles he championed: to be FREE and to always defend FREEDOM in every sphere.
Eduardo Ros announced that Melisa García Roda, currently the town’s Youth Councilor, will serve as Secretary General of the organization, while David Cánovas Talavera will be the General Coordinator and Deputy Secretary for Organization.

To conclude the event, Mayor José María Pérez Sánchez wished Eduardo and his team the best of luck, encouraging them to approach their work “with both head and heart—because politics is about fighting, working, and serving.”
With this new leadership team, NNGG of Pilar de la Horadada begins an exciting new phase focused on participation, training, and a deep commitment to the party’s values, with the goal of continuing to be the voice of young people within the PP and in public institutions.
