Elche’s National Police have seized 34 boxes of Viagra as well as more than a quarter of a kilo of cocaine and MDMA crystal, in a drug trafficking operation in Aspe.
They also confiscated 8,000 euros in cash and a high end car, in a raid that saw them arrest two women and one man, all Spaniards aged between 24 and 62 years, who have now all been charged with a crime against public health.
The investigations began almost two months ago when agents were told that the detainees were engaged in the retail sale and distribution of cocaine and MDMA.
The information was corroborated over several weeks by members of the narcotics team from Elche police station, who monitored and followed the suspects. During the operation they observed two of the suspects selling and distributing the substances while another woman sold the drugs from her home.
As a result of the investigation a search warrant was obtained for the house in Aspe in which they subsequently found 255 grams of cocaine, 55 grams of MDMA, 34 boxes of Viagra, a precision scale And 7,900 euros in cash.
The arrests were carried out by agents of the Judicial Police Brigade of Elche and the three arrested have all been charged with the sale and distribution of drugs.
