The Alicante Port’s cruise terminal is gearing up for the arrival of four new ships in late November, bringing an estimated 9,600 passengers into the area.

Highlighting this influx is the arrival of MSC Cruises’ luxury vessel, Explora I, from its exclusive Explora Journeys line. Expected to dock this Thursday, Explora I will bring around 900 U.S. passengers, marking MSC Cruises’ first commitment to Alicante as a tourist destination.

Following this initial visit, MSC Cruises plans a return in 2025 with two stops by Explora II in April and October. Alongside Explora I, the Seven Seas Navigator from Regent Seven Seas Cruises is scheduled to arrive on November 23 with 490 North American passengers. On November 26, MSC Magnifica will dock with 3,215 international passengers.

The final November arrival will be P&O Cruises’ Iona, expected on December 1, carrying approximately 5,100 British passengers. These visits are part of the 2024 cruise schedule, which anticipates a record year for Alicante with nearly 230,000 cruise passengers.
