SC Torrevieja CF took another step towards winning the title of the Valencia 1st Regional G8 following a resounding 7-0 victory against Elche Dream CF A.
Prolific goalscorer Hucha bagged four goals, the striker completing the rout on 88 minutes, having netted in the first minute, to wrap up another 3 points in the race to become champions.
Bonillo (55 mins) gave Torry a 4-0 lead, 10 minutes into the second half. Following an assist from Lukitas, Hucha netted at the far post to give Torry a 5-0 lead.
A minute later Hucha completed his hat-trick on 62 minutes. Following great play by Edu, he played the ball to Hucha, who shot only for the Elche ‘keeper making a fine save, with the ball falling back into Hucha’s path, to fire it into the net.
SC Torrevieja CF B suffered a 1-0 home defeat against CD Athletico San Fulgencio in the Valencia 2nd Regional Group 16. “We were in control of the game, but lacked the upper hand. In certain positions we also lacked freshness.
“It’s time to recover and resume the path in the complicated final stretch,” said a club spokesperson.
