The Francisco Casanovas Inclusive Music Course staged the eleventh concert in its programme bringing live music to hospitals, care homes and community organisations

Students from the Francisco Casanovas Inclusive Music Course performed at APANEE Torrevieja on Friday, June 12, as part of a series of concerts taking music into healthcare and community settings.

The lunchtime performance was the eleventh event in the 2025–26 concert programme, which began in November and visits hospitals, residential homes and local associations.

The musicians presented a varied programme of guitar, voice, clarinet, bandurria and percussion for APANEE service users, staff, relatives and other guests.

Performers included Christine Garsous and Maximiano Padilla on guitar; Brigitte Le Goff on cajón; María José Monteagudo on bandurria; singers Sandra Cedeño, Mayerlin Orocopey, Ina Braun, Víctor Castro and Caty Hernández; Aurora Villares on guitar and vocals; Nadine Ceuterick on clarinet; and Juan Espinosa on guitar.

Alberto Rodríguez also joined the event with a specially written recital dedicated to APANEE users and their families.

APANEE thanked the musicians and their teacher, Luis Sánchez, for taking part in the concert.

The Francisco Casanovas Inclusive Music Course has 70 students and aims to make music accessible to people of all backgrounds and abilities while combining musical education with community outreach.

The next concert in the series will take place at APAEX Torrevieja on Thursday, June 25, at 7pm.
