July 9, 2025 – In June 2025, the Traffic Division of the Guardia Civil in the Valencian Community brought 275 drivers before the courts for alleged road safety crimes.
The offenses included:
- 106 drivers caught driving without a valid license or permit
- 36 had lost all license points
- 11 were under temporary judicial suspension
- 59 had never obtained a license
- 151 drivers were caught driving under the influence of alcohol
- 12 for reckless driving
- 2 for speeding
- 4 for driving under the influence of drugs

- Valencia:
- 53 for driving without a license
- 83 for driving under the influence of alcohol
- 1 for speeding
- 9 for reckless driving
- 4 for driving under the influence of drugs
- Castellón:
- 18 for driving without a license
- 17 for driving under the influence of alcohol
- Alicante:
- 35 for driving without a license
- 51 for driving under the influence of alcohol
- 1 for speeding
- 3 for reckless driving
