Torrevieja’s Local Government Board has approved a €111 million contract for the maintenance of green spaces and public areas, awarded to ACTÚA SERVICIOS MEDIOAMBIENTE S.L. The contract is divided into two parts:
Green space maintenance (€102.8 million, 15 years)
Improvement and adaptation works (€8.2 million, 4 years)
The contract covers the upkeep of parks, gardens, playgrounds, sports areas, fountains, irrigation systems, and urban furniture, spanning over 2 million m²—an increase of 800,000 m² from current maintenance levels.

Staff increases from 59 to 113 employees
Fleet expansion from 25 to 68 vehicles
Implementation of advanced technology for real-time monitoring, georeferencing, and maintenance planning
New green spaces to be developed in multiple areas across the city
The contract aims to provide high-quality maintenance, promote sustainability, and enhance the efficiency of public funds. It also includes 24/7 emergency response services for all green spaces.
