Every year Villajoyosa host an Annual International Rugby Seven a Side Tournament at the Villajoyosa Rugby Stadium
This year will the 36th edition of the event, and as usual the tournament is to be held over two days on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th May.
The Sevens caters for all levels of senior seven a side rugby, (National teams and Invitational sides)
Cash winners prize money for elite international champions, both Women’s and Men’s will be 2.000 € per team. Runners up 500 €. With a total of 5.000 euros prize money
The event is supported by Generalitat Valenciana, Ayuntamiento Villajoyosa, Diputacion Alicante and Patronato Turismo Costa Blanca with sponsors Hospital Clinica Benidorm and Viator
There are 20 confirmed teams, 10 men and 10 women.
ELITE MEN: Danish National Team, Portugal National team, Lithuania National Team, China National Team, Rumania National Team, Spain Select,Red Wailers (UK), All Stars Sevens (South Africa), Viator Barbarians (Spain), Belgium Barbarians (Belgium), Olymp Kazajistan and Akuma Rugby Agents (UK)
ELITE WOMEN: Rumania National Team, Sweden National Team, Poland National team, Portugal National Team, UK All Stars, Viator Costa Blanca
On Saturday the games will start at 10.00 until 7.00 pm and on Sunday games will start at 10.00 until 7.00 pm. Finals will start at 5.00 pm

The Villajoyosa Rugby Stadium is situated at Carretera El Pantano, Villajoyosa. Just take the motorway AP-7 exit Nº 66.
